I’m Laura, a twenty-something girl just living the gluten-free life. I like to think of myself as Young, Wild and [Gluten] Free. I have a Marketing background and am quite nerdy, so that’s why I originally started this blog, but now it has become my passion. I thoroughly enjoy connecting with the gluten-free community, reviewing products, and spreading the g-free love in any way that I can.
I have lived in Ohio my entire life and currently reside in Toledo, so if you have any gluten-free related questions regarding the area, feel free to ask! I enjoy running, which is good since I eat tons of wonderful food that you see on my site (need to burn the calories somehow!). I was a competitive swimmer growing up, and I went gluten free just a few months after I ended my career. I truly believe if I had known that I needed to eat gluten-free while I was swimming, I would have been a much better athlete. But, it is what it is, so I guess I will let Dana Vollmer be the famous gluten-free swimmer instead.
I guest blog for the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness, posting reviews on the Gluten-Free Hot Products Blog, and I also contribute to the Rudi’s Gluten-Free Baked on the Bright Side blog. If you’re itching to find more of my simple, g-free recipes, head over to SwimUtopia.com and check out my weekly series, Wheatless Wednesday with G-Free Laura.
Finally, I’d like to give a big THANK YOU for visiting my site! Don’t be afraid to connect with me on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or Pinterest. I will try to answer any questions you may have, or we can just shoot the gluten-free breeze.
